Embrace Wabi Sabi: Carved from teak root, Rainforest Bowls' master wood artisans follow the natural shape & grain of the wood. Cracks, crevices, holes, knots, etc are an intended resulting feature. No two vases are alike.

Versatile Vase: Use with flowers, small trees, dried grasses, or displayed empty. Teak Root Vases are waterproof, except for holes/cracks- some customers add a waterproof liner or insert another vase. We recommend indoor-use only to maximize the life of the vase.

One Tough Vase: Teak is famous for its extreme durability. Luxury houses, outdoor furniture, and even high end boats are built from it. This vase is heavy, made to last a lifetime and can become a family heirloom. Use with flowers, small trees, dried grasses and flowers, or displayed empty.

Rainforest Bowls

Rainforest Bowls started out with two goals in mind: to protect and nurture rainforests around the world and to reshape the dining experience.

Rainforest Bowls first began offering coconut bowls, made from discarded coconut shells and refined by talented master artisans from rural Vietnam. Instead of being left to rot in a landfill or be burned as waste, coconuts are given new life as beautiful, all-natural kitchen products for more people to enjoy.

They now partner with local family-owned businesses of master artisans from developing regions around the world, including:

Ben Tre, Vietnam
Hanoi and Thanh Hoa, Vietnam
East and Central Java, Indonesia
Sfax, Tunisia

Using age-old woodworking techniques, woodworkers incorporate local tradition and culture into every piece in their line, giving a rare touch and story behind each of their products. Through their artisan-made offerings, Rainforest Bowls aims to support the livelihoods of their global network of artisans, championing the tradition of woodworking, and bringing the talents of these artisans to the world stage.
